This is a sketch of Sgt Rock I did for Axel Alonso. They were planning to put together a mini-series with Azzarello as the writer. Originally, Azzarello wanted Doug Mahnke as the artist but Axel was trying to bring me in. In the meantime, Joe Kubert expressed interest and consequently stepped in as artist. Can't really complain about that can we?
